A new facility on the SFCC Web Site should assist the dissemination of information amongst the SFCC member organisations and outside bodies..
The feature enables users within member organisations to post articles and briefings onto the web site via their Browser interface. The articles are then available to all users of and visitors to the site, presented in order of most recent first. The articles can be selected by a particular member organisation too, meaning that relevant articles are quick to identify and select.
This functionality is achieved by storing much of the site content in an on-line database. Web pages are created and delivered to browsers using the techniques of ODBC and ASP..
