To carry out this task the Board conduct research into the status of the fish stocks within the river. The program of research is co-ordinated by the Spey Research Trust, the research division of the Board, which has charitable status. Objectives The Spey Fishery Board are committed to the conservation and enhancement of the salmon and sea trout stocks within the Spey catchment. Current Projects The Trust are undertaking a variety of research projects across the Spey catchment. In addition it is playing a key role in the education of local school children through the "Salmon go to School" project. How You Can Help The Spey Fishery Board are indebted to the Moray, Strathspey and Badenoch Enterprise Company and a number of individuals and companies for their continuing financial support. Without this support much of the research efforts would not be possible. Significant sums are needed each year to support research and any donations are gratefully received.
