Spey Research Trust - More Information The Trust The management of salmon and sea trout within the River Spey is the responsibility of the Spey District Salmon Fishery Board. To carry out this task the Board conduct research into the status of the fish stocks within the river. The program of research is co-ordinated by the Spey Research Trust, the research division of the Board, which has charitable status. Objectives The Spey Fishery Board are committed to the conservation and enhancement of the salmon and sea trout stocks within the Spey catchment. Current Projects The Trust are undertaking a variety of research projects across the Spey catchment. In addition it is playing a key role in the education of local school children through the "Salmon go to School" project.
