A two year Project Officer post is available from early 2019 to deliver an exciting new project titled ‘Partnership Delivery of Prioritised Salmon Habitat Restoration in the Galloway River Catchments’.
Galloway Fisheries Trust is a conservation charity working on fish populations, their habitats and water quality across the freshwaters of Galloway. The candidate must be physically fit, motivated and hardworking. A full valid driving licence is essential. The position will be based in Newton Stewart and will work across the rivers in Galloway.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE PROJECT OFFICER:
The post holder is required to have a minimum of a degree, experience working in the wild fish sector, preferably hold a post-graduate qualification and be able to demonstrate the ability to analysis large data sets. The post holder will need to show evidence of self-motivation and have a positive proactive attitude.
Salary will be £25,000 per annum. Closing date for applications is 5pm 13th December 2018.
Interviews plan to be held on the 19th December 2018.
