A FREE Seminar at 7pm on Wednesday 14th December 2016
Ednam House Hotel, Bridge Street Kelso
Radical shifts are taking place in Tweed’s Salmon stocks, the like of which most of us have never experienced before. The complexity of the Salmon’s life cycle makes pinpointing the source of the problem challenging: are these changes related to previous cycles, or issues out at sea or, an as yet undiscovered issue?
Come and hear the theories put forward by Dr Jens Christian Holst.
Dr Holst is a Norwegian fisheries scientist who studies the North Atlantic as an ecosystem, looking at all its fish species and what these feed on rather than just salmon by themselves – come and hear what he has to say about the changes going on there and how these affect the salmon.
